A toddler was pierced a few inches by a flying
beach umbrella that was blown into the air by a gust of wind.
Henry Dugan and his mother Ashton enjoyed the day on the beach at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the pointy furniture was pulled down from the ground and pounced at him
Ashton is filming her son to have a good time on the beach and catch the nearbymiss on camera.
She said: \"I don\'t know where this umbrella came from. I only flew a circle. I miss him about 6 inch.
Terrible.
\"He\'s about five to six yards away from me.
The beach was empty.
\"I don\'t know what to do when this happens.
I think I threw my phone away and said \"Oh my God\" and then I ran away.
Henry managed to escape unscathed after seeing the umbrella and turned the umbrella to it.
But Ashton was seriously shaken by the incident.
She said the lifeguard who put the umbrella in the sand rushed over to apologize afterwards.
Ashton hopes that their tragedy will raise awareness and says: \"very well understand the environment around you.
\"The Umbrella almost turned our world upside down.
\"I really think that God\' shands caught Henry that morning, and I appreciate the results, and I was able to capture something like this and spread awareness for others.
\"I hope to save a life this summer and the coming summer.
